After months of phone calls, zoom sessions and cyber workshops, SUGILANON is ready for lift off!
CARD-MRI, a well known micro-financing non-profit organization, joined forces with us to craft, mold, and narrate the stories of individuals that help sustain their social development institution. With Mr. Raffy Antes and Ms. Marilyn M. Manila from Hijos Tours leading the way, we conducted Focus Group Discussions (FGD), lectures, and workshops that guided writers and train community members in creating and portraying composite characters based on their collective experiences. A five-day lock-in workshop and film shoot soon followed.
And with that, we're very excited to announce the project launch this coming December 9, 2021, in San Pablo, Laguna as part of the 35th anniversary celebration of CARD-MRI. Stay tuned for photo coverage from the said event.
