Tailgating from last year’s successful film showing of SUGILANON, LPT and Hijos Tours join forces once again with PASUNDAYAG. This three-month project started with a workshop audition featuring eight (8) non-professional attendees from the local municipality. After group evaluations and monologue readings, three (3) participants were selected for a two-month workshop and rehearsal.
The ensemble was put through a rigorous training program on topics related to basic theater elements, monologue performance, vocalization, and characterization. Weekly rehearsals took place afterwards. One (1) LPT acting mentor was assigned to each participant to guide these non-professional performers in embodying their respective characters.
The result is an interactive live performance which launched last August 2, 2022 at the Card-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI). For booking details, please visit Hijos Tour’s Facebook page.
