We've been quiet lately, but it doesn't mean we haven't been busy!
From January- February 2019, we had been working on an exciting project in collaboration with Fundacion Santiago, Museo ni Emilio Aguinaldo, and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. And we're very proud to announce that last February 23, SA AMING TAHANAN held its soft opening at the Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite. SA AMING TAHANAN is a First-Person Interpretation Program that brings to life historical characters that were part of the fabric of the Aguinaldo Shrine's history.
Langgam Performance Troupe provided theater and devising workshop to the Kawit-based actors, empowering them to retell the stories of their community's history. Below are photos from our workshop, devising, and rehearsal process.
